My sister and brother in law took us to Titiwangsa Lake Gardens to show where Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz's film I Miss You Like Crazy was filmed at (ha-ha). After our night shoot, we watched the movie in the comfort of my KL home (nuks!) but I fell asleep and wasn't able to catch the Titiwangsa scene. (ha-ha)
Anyways, Titiwangsa Lake Gardens is one of KL's most visited places. It's a recreational park situated at the outskirt of Kuala Lumpur city, roughly about an hour from the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.
You will be able to capture a picture perfect view of the three tourist spots in KL - Petronas Tower, Menara Tower and Istana Budaya. The latter is an arts culture center which looks like a Sydney Opera House to me. By the way, Istana Budaya is just 5 minutes away from the park :)
How to get to Titiwangsa:
We were lucky to have a private car to tour us around the gardens at night. If you wish to get there for a night shoot, please consider the following :
- Monorail going to Titiwangsa Station (last stop) or LRT to Titiwangsa Station. Take a bus going to the garden or use feet for a 30 minute walk.
- Ride KL Hop-on Hop-off
