Truly sorry for not being able to respond to your queries/comments. Work has been stealing my clock and I couldn't find ample time to blog. My travel photos for the last two months are no where to be found. I don't even remember where the hell I placed my SD cards. Kaloka.

So...well...lemme see...okay..

I am actually lost for words as I write this down. I am stressed yet thrilled. Nervous yet hopeful. Okay fine. Sige na. Sasabihin ko na. I am getting married on April next year. And who's the unfortunate soul (weh)? Of course, my travel bud, Elbert.

Elbert proposed in October last year when we were in Bangkok. It was very unexpected. It didn't occur to me that the proposal would come a little early that I expected.

So this means we have to refrain from travelling as we need to save up for the "big day". Thus, we need to juggle work, personal errands and wedding preps. That also means blogging would be a least priority.. for now.

I will try my best to drop a line given a time.

Love much,
V

Aurora Province: Casiguran to Baler

'Yung biglaang lakad talaga ang kadalansang natutuloy. Katie (Always Wandering) invited me for an Aurora weekend getaway. I was figuring out whether I wanted a climb (mountain) or a beach, but then again the Dyesabel in me screams for tubig-alat (ha-ha).

How to Apply for Korean Tourist Visa - UPDATED REQUIREMENTS!

image from Korea Embassy website (Philippines)

I am scheduled for a Korea trip next month and a friend colleague-friend Tina told me that there's a new visa requirements effective March 1, 2015. See below:

The new requirements for Korean tourist visa effective March 1, 2015.
Before March 1, 2015
After March 1, 2015
1. Certificate of Employment
2. Bank Certificate
3. Income Tax Return copy
1. Certificate of Employment
- must include applicant's position, date hired, compensation, address, office landline number(cell-phone number is not allowed), e-mail address.
2. Bank Ceritificate
- must include account type, current balance, account opening date, 6 months average balance (ADB)
3. Bank Statement
- original or certified true copy of bank statements/passbook for the last 3 months
4. Income Tax Return copy

I am surprised that apart from the bank certificate, they now required bank statement. So if you're planning to visit Korea in the near future, better prepare your cash flows/savings for good standing.

Sunflower

Under the bright sunshine of Baguio City are lovely flowers that stay fresh and vibrant. This was taken in 2012 during Penegbenga Festival. This photo was processed with Photoshop CS6. The said process is called color isolation. You can also isolate more than one subject if you wish to.

The used Nikon D40 and kit lens (18-55) for this shot. Yes, kit lens! :D

Bangkok, Thailand: Lampu Tree House

I will not hesitate to book my accommodation again with Lampu Tree House when I get back to Bangkok. Lamphu Tree House is a very decent lodging without having to slice a big portion of your travel budget. The price and services are definitely well worth the money.

Bangkok, Thailand: A Relaxing 2 Day Off

Bangkok is such a sweet and easy place where every single traveler or holiday goer can pretty much do whatever they want - party, relax, socialize, shop, eat or just simply have fun. I fell in love with Bangkok because of it's simplicity and inviting temperament amidst humid climate.

Happy New Year!

Woaaah! This is my first blog post after, what, September 2014. Since then, many things have happened. I went to Bangkok last October and I couldn't forgive myself for not posting my experiences there.
