Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie

French Cafe? In Malaysia? I was looking forward to trying out Malaysian dishes for the whole span of our trip. Since my ate said it's worth it, so we gave it a try. After a tiring photowalk in Batu Caves and drooling over chocolates at Berly's Chocolate Factory, we headed to Levain for lunch which is just a street away (and yes walking distance) from Berlys.

Let my photos tell you how much I yearn to go back to Kuala Lumpur. Food porn here we go! :p

The very cozy Levain packed with customer at lunch time.

Presenting to you our orders. They are seriously more stunning in person. My shots didn't give justice on how they presented these beautiful dishes.

Our pasta cravings...

Chicken Meatball Bolognaise

Mushroom Cream Pasta

Chicken Lasagna

Seafood Aglio Olio

I am a fan of soups and stews. My mom loves cooking them. So we ordered two of their best sellers.

Creamy Mushroom Chicken Soup

We also ordered Spicy Seafood Tomato Soup but I wasn't able to take photos of it. Dunno why.

For breads and pizzas....

Chicken and Seafood Pizza

Eggplant and Zucchini Toast

Cheese Stick
And my ate's favorite.....

Almond Cheese Danish

I understand that Levain cooks all breads and pastries in a traditional stone oven. Perfect reason for you to love its products. It's beautiful and delicious.

I love this part of Levain. It's very neat considering this is the workstation for bakers.

Staff checking stocks on the floor

Octopus bread :D

We ordered these for take out :D

Take a tray and then get whatever you want!

They also sell sandwiches and salads

Cakes and macaroons!!!

and chocolate love!

Closer look at Levain spaces.

See this satisfied and hungry little customer? My niece Sofie enjoying her pizza!

Now who says you can’t taste French in Malaysia? ;)
