Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2)

Goodbye, Low Cost Carriage Terminal (LCCT). Hello, Kuala Lumpur Internation Airport 2 (KLIA2)!

KLIA2 officially opened on May 2 of this year and we were blessed to have experienced it FIRST! We were one of the many passengers whose flight was scheduled on the opening day.  Amoy na amoy bago :D

KLIA2 is HUGE and is certainly a word class airport. It's capacity can accommodate 45 million passengers per year. It has the Tallest Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) in region. I am sure there will be more great things to expect in KLIA2 as days pass by.

We actually had a massive KLIA2 boo-boo. We forgot to check-in our luggage! ;p Nakakahiya! Good thing airport personnel were so kind and lenient even. Airport jitters? ;p

How did we get to KLIA2 from KLCC?

We took a cab/taxi to get to KLIA2 as train service wasn't available yet at that time. But good news! KLIA Express/KLIA KLIA Transit is now serving! Should you wish to experience a high-speed yet affordable transit going to KL Sentral (the major transport hub of KL and our favorite jump-off point) from the airport, then try KL Express. I guarantee a hassle free train experience. What's best is, it is cheaper than riding a cab :D
