Singapore: Parc Sovereign Hotel

Looking for a boutique hotel in Singapore that offers full accommodation service like large hotel style? Well, Parc Sovereign Hotel maybe the one you're looking for.

A month before our flight, I searched Agoda to check out hotel that caters our budget. Four...five...star hotel was indeed grand and certainly way out of our cost. I saw hostels for backpackers on the list but I was looking for something more than the comfort of bed and air-conditioned room. I found Parc Sovereign Hotel which at that time was offering fantastic discount to those who would confirm booking a month before arrival. Perfect.

Here's what made me decide to book with Parc Sovereign:

Allows early check-in. Yes of course. We left Manila at 6:30AM and reached Singapore at about 9:30AM. Combined all the time that was spent in the airport (immigration and luggage queue, etc.) and transit going to the hotel, we reached Parc Sovereign at about 12:NN. Check-in time is 3:00PM.  The receptionist gladly told us that we can  check-in ahead.

Offers secured baggage storage.Yes! Our flight to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore was scheduled at 9:30PM. Parc Sovereign check out is at 12NN. We had ample time to go around places but we couldn't afford to bring a total of 50k baggage with us. Thank heavens Parc Sovereign has super secured baggage storage for FREE! Staff will give you a card sheet as a proof that you've deposited items with them.

Free Wi-Fi. Who wouldn't like this? :D

Near restaurants, food hubs and shopping areas. Parc Sovereign offers meals too but we opted to eat outside the hotel since food hubs are just few steps away. On the other hand, shopping spots (Sim Lim Square, Little India, etc.) are very convenient from the hotel.

you see that two doors just outside the exit glass door? that's their baggage storage.

I appreciate the hotel's excellent customer service. Eveybody's friendly and very willing to assist. What's good about them is that they have Filipina reception officers. Admit it, sa ibang bansa, iba 'yung feeling na may kapwa Pinoy kang kasama. You feel more secure as they say.

Sorry I wasn't able to take photos of our room. But I guarantee, it's worth the money. It's clean  and properly sanitized. Ang lambot-lamot ng bed! :D
