Macky's Goto

Good food doesn't always have to be expensive. Goto is a budget busting cheap dish that truly satisfies pinoy cravings. I mean, who doesn't like goto, aber? In Marikina, when we speak of goto, there are only two carinderias in mind - Estella's Goto or Macky's Goto.

Macky's been around for quite a while now. It's one of the oldest food businesses in Marikina. Highschool pa lang ako, may Macky's na.

 

Goto in Macky's is really rich and tasty. Hindi puro sabaw, msg or alat. For a munching budget of P25.00 pesos per bowl, well, solb ka na!

And of course, a goto wouldn't be complete without tokwa't baboy on the side! It's a perfect combo and it's really SARAAAAP! :D

Then there's also a halo-halo after available to wrap up your goto experience. This simpleng pampalamig costs a P30.00 per serving.

So for two (2) orders of halo-halo, tokwat baboy and goto, we paid a whopping P170.00 pesos (he-he). Busog sarap! 

How to get there: 

Macky's is along the road in J.P. Rizal, San Roque. It's very easy to find. 

Commute

From Cubao, take an fx or jeep going to Calumpang. Tell the driver to drop you off to OLA (Our Lady of the Abandoned Church), San Roque. From OLA, Macky's is just a few steps away. You will actually see signage of Macky's from your left. 

Private vehicle

From Cubao, take San Roque, Marikina route. Cross Marikina bridge then take a right turn. From your left, search for Macky's. It wouldn't take 5 minutes to see Macky's signage from the bridge. Parking however could be a challenge since it's along the road.
