Grazzie, Bellini

Bellini's Cafe is one of my favorite food hubs situated in Marikina. Elbert and I usually eat here after office period, when our stomach calls for food due to traffic ordeal (he-he). We've been to Bellini's on several occasions and I must say they consistently serve tasty and absolutely flavorful Italian dishes.
Bellini's at night. Me and my box of pizza :)

Bellini's Cafe has also a branch in Cubao Expo which I believe is the "mother" Bellini's :) The Marikina branch used to be located along J.P. Rizal St., Sta. Elena (going San Roque) and it reopened last year in Shoe Ave., Sto. NiƱo.

How can you not love this place? What a lovely work of art and comfy sofas upon entrance.

The new location of Bellini's Marikina is quite reseved which I guess is intentional. You wouldn't notice it at once, even the location is right smack in the middle of Save More grocery and Yamaha.

The interior of Bellini's is very relaxing and absolutely enticing. Tables and chairs are very charming, while the colors and designs blend really well. Pipe-in music sets a comfortable mood. There are live musicians scheduled to play from time to time to serenade the customers. It feels very homey!

Now for the food.

Waiters welcome customers with these lovely bread sticks in a glass.

Bellinis bread sticks

My favorite appetizer is Foccaccia Bread with Dip. It's a perfect way to warm up your taste bud :D Not too heavy, not too light. The dip is mixture of olive oil, basil and other Italian herbs.
Focaccia Bread with Dip; Php100.00

My orders are always pasta. And believe or not, I always order the same dish....Al Cartoccio! It's a mix seafood in alumunim foil :)
Beautiful presentation of my Al Cartoccio. It was flaming when they served this :)

Al Cartociio (Mixed Seafood in Aluminum foil in tomato base with Fettuccini Pasta; P250.00

You can also choose olive oil as the base sauce for Al Catoccio. But, I like my tomato base better. The tomato flavor adds more definition to the dish, and it's a good ingredient to cover up the rusty or eathy flavor of seafoods. You may also choose which pasta you think suits best for your dish (spaghetti, penne, fetuccini). All pastas are home made :)
Al Pomodoro Basilico (Tomato Sauce and Basil) with Spaghetti Pasta; P250.00

Elbert ordered a very sumptuous classic Italian dish Al Pomodoro Basilico which is a combination of Italian tomato sauce and basil. The mixture of these two ingredients are perfect together.

Parmesan cheese :)

We also ordered Quatrizza (Four Kinds of Pizza - meat, vegetables and sea foods). It's really tastes yummy! One of their best sellers.

Quatrizza; P350.00

Strawberry Milkshake and Ice Tea; Php150.00/ Php70.00

And to cap off your Bellini's dining experience, a classic sweet wine for free!

So here's our plate after a few minutes....
Almost done! Shells are finished :D

finito!
